Complaints against others and channels...

I think this forum is a great opportunity to voice an opinion, help someone or just share something regarding this chat world. However, in reading through some of the 'complaints', I feel that complaints that are lodged against another chatter or channel directly should not be made public information for all to see as there is always two sides to every story. I believe those complaints should be made private to administrative personnel only and not for public viewing. Allowing this in my opinion is like a public display of humiliation and may not always be true or accurate. In a way, it makes those in question appear to be guilty, when in fact they truely may not be.

Having said that....
The dec 20 post that is in the 'complaints' section in ewc forum specifically is against me and my staff personally and not a server issue.....it makes us look bad and fading J only posted it for that reason. Can that post be deleted since it is directed at me personally and not a server issue? I take offense to it because it is a personal issue and should not be made public. There ARE two sides to every story, but I will not elaborate on mine otherwise I could write a book here with the harrassments from him.

I agree 100% that that complaints that are lodged against another chatter or channels directly should not be made public information...as this is a FORUM to address server issues. I also STRONGLY believe that complaints should be made directly to administrative personnel...not here's the clencher...what if this has been done and you don't hear from an administrative personel and it's basically swept under the carpet as so many things are done here unfortunatley innocent chatters are victimized daily here on this server in many channels by power hungry MODS who for one are not properly instructed on how to deal with disruptive chatters nor do they have a clue what a basic cmd is...if they don't like someone they will find a way NO WARNING...to ban kick repeatly this innocent chatter. Oh and I agree with a two sided story...as I feel it's 100% fair in viewing both sides...but in this case there isn't a two sided story!!! Just a MOD or 2 in particular over stepping their given priviledge as MODS to use their power to make certain ppl miserable. Complain to an administrator hahaha...no that doesn't work...sadly! As an ex owner of a very large server and of course administrator I have seen alot of...fortunately my staff was well trained and my admins knew how to handle situations and and responded timely. Might want to review here what is going on...or easier....do nothing at all and shove it back under the carpet like you always do

2 sides to every story??? Well, when I was banned from Illusion's room, my story wasn't even heard properly, despite my earnest efforts to clarify the misunderstanding. Not only that.. all my staff were also banned. They were innocent victims of power hungry MODs. Illusion talks of fairness and bad publicity? If this is the only place I can get my story heard then I will use it. right or wrong. I would dearly like to get along with Illusion and gain cooperation and give support to other room owners, but when my staff become innocent victims, then I take exception to the malicious actions.
I have approached the Administrators of the site on this matter and they, rightly, will not participate in this disagreement. However I think it should be made known that I have issues with the way that room is run. By all means ban the alledged culprits, but to ban innocent chatters who were not involved in the incident beggers beliefe!

Busyelf, Your comments were a little contradictory. You state this is not the place to lodge complaints against other chatters, then you blantently lodge a complaint against my room. MY room is NOT a server room. It was created by ME. I have a right to refuse anyone in it for whatever reason I choose. You want to now make this a public issue is ok by me. In short, you are not welcome in MY room, so get over it and stop the harrassment.

Well, Once again, you have failed to understand the points I was raising, but if it wasn't for the innocent victims of your vindictiveness I would not bother to reply to this. You have made your standpoint very clear. Making it public is the only way to get through to you as you ignore all my previous attempts to discuss this matter in a civilised way and come to some amicable soloution.

This was niether a personal attack nor harassment . merely an aopportunity to invite you to openly discuss this and reach an amicable settlement.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing is the nature of any forum. Fortunately, given the chats are free, it doesn't cost people anything to try them out, even if the bad reviews turn out to be true.

This is a public forum and people are allowed to post as they please, within reason. I'd be glad to create a forum section for, "Praise and Thanks," if you feel this may help offset some of the negative.

In general, though, my advice would be to reply, in a positive fashion, explaining the details so people can see both sides of the story.

Thank you J, I appreciate your advice. If anyone DOES requires any information as to the circumstances of the disagreement I would be willing to talk to them in the chat rooms or in a private conversation, preferably the latter.
