Is there a way to eliminate the chat text and background options and force just black text on a white background?

Choose the classic theme and a black font. If you mean for all members of your room, it's up to each one to choose their favourite background and font colour.

I know how to pick themes. That's not the problem. I want to eliminate them all together. I want to make it so that you HAVE to use black text and white background for anyone who visits that particular room. I and most of the regular room users use mirc. We have one regular who likes to type in white and teal text in the flash version, which is very difficult to read. He refuses to go to black text. Most of us are very annoyed, but do not want to exclude him from chat.

mIRC has the option to cancel colours, white background, black font regardless what colour font a chatter uses. The option to eliminate the choice of background or font colour is not available with the flash client. You will have to convince your ONE regular to comply since his choice of font colour is so very annoying.
