IP banning?

Can we please have IP banning options in the chatrooms?
kicking people out is no good if they just change their username and return =/

IP banning is supported. Select custom ban, when removing them. Their ip address will be automatically placed in the box.

That was what I clicked but it didn't work. They just logged back in under a different name.

I just tested it again, being sure to click "custom ban" as well.. it says the cable provider and all at ban but it doesn't ban the ip. After the person refreshes the page they can come back in.

ok it says somthing!somthing@host change it with *!*@host and this bans any nickname at that ip. I hope this helps you.

i do it all the time and they never come back

if you are the admin and op of room you can do one that chanserv does that never deletes even if everyone leaves. You do /msg chanserv akick #channel add *!*@host reason or /msg chanserv akick #channel add nick!*@*
