Access only from my web
Is it possible?
I want to do that to avoid people from my forum have to register a nickname and at the same time knowing the chat nickname match the forum username. Note: my hosting doesn't allow to host any kind of chat script. Thanks. Carlos |

RE: Access only from my web
People will have to register a nickname with our server. Some nicknames of your members may already be registered by someone else, in this case they will will have to add another letter or number to their name or register a new name.

RE: Access only from my web
So, there isn't any way to do that?
Before there were an integrated chat solution for the SMF forum but I've read that have been discontinued. Now I can't think of any solution without installing a chat script on the server. Thanks. |

RE: Access only from my web
Is it possible to pass from my forum the channel password without the user knowing it?
If it were possible, then to do the trick I should disable nick change on my channel. Is it possible? And then use "username_myweb" as nick. Thanks. |
