unable to connect

I've been trying to connect to the channel sonicTALK via http://www.sonicstate.com/live/ but every time I try, it says it's connecting but never fully connects.

I've tried it on XP, Vista and Linux mint and 2 different computers. Same problem.

I've tried connecting to irc.everywherechat.com (6667) via MIRC but it just times out.
"* Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)"

What's going wrong?

The link http://www.sonicstate.com/live connected me
Try clearing your cache and delete cookies, check your firewall settings.
The problem is more likely with your ISP, try connecting later again.
