Commands not working or not displayed

Hi, I opened a channel JKII_Star_Wars_Gamer_Room_No_Registration_Required I have set up 2 admins and when I log in as admin the only command that works is /nick to change names if I type /whois xxxx or any other command nothing displays. I'm new to IRC so I'm not really sure how to use it, is it supposed to open up anything in another window, is it a pop up issue, as well if I don't type anything for about 2 minutes I get logged off. I would also like to add a bot and keep the room open all the time.

If you are using the flash client, most commands are in options, room security, or by double clicking the name of a user in the list. If you are using a mIRC client, you find commands here: http://dev.anope.org/docgen/1.9/en_us/ChanServ.php
You will have to use a search engine to find a bot, although we allow them we do not support bots. Our server is: irc.everywherechat.com, port 6667 or 7000
