Three Client Issues
1) About 10 of the 50-100 people who come into my chatroom are experiencing this error upon entering the client:
RSL Error 1 of 1. Error 2048 As shown in this image: http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/599/19681354.png I'm assuming this has to do with client updates, and flex? But I don't have enough knowledge about flash clients to help. http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/he...sl_10.html 2) Memoserv issues? I'm sure you're aware of this. Any time you come in as a registered name, you're notified of having 1 message. 3) There has always been a bug in the client that let's you login as any registered name. Fortunately, if you login as an op registered name, you don't get mod status. I just thought I'd let you know though. If you don't know how it's done (the bug), hit me up via my forum email. Many thanks for your time and effort, hopefully these issues can get resolved asap since some people can't use my chatroom and it's a pretty crucial element of running my site

RE: Three Client Issues
RSL issues should be resolved by clearing the Flash Cache.
Visit: http://www.macromedia.com/support/docume...ger07.html Select "Delete All Sites" to completely clear it. Memoserv issues with Flash have been resolved. The last one isn't actually a bug, it's just a limitation of the server, the way it's currently written. We are working to change this. |

RE: Three Client Issues
Thanks for your help j, but unfortunately your Flash Cache clearing advice didn't resolve the issue for anyone who can't get into chat. Any other ideas?

RE: Three Client Issues
I am having the same issue with a few of my chatters. I am actually having that issue on one of my computers right here in my office. I did use that link on that computer, and attempted to reload the chat page and received the same error.

RE: Three Client Issues
I believe this may be resolved, now. You may need to clear the browser and Flash caches again.
