Im banned from your server

I tried to connect to your server with a different irc client (Maybe thats not allowed)

My host name: 5ad17030.bb.sky.com

Could someone kindly explain to me why im banned thanks.

No idea why you were banned but it was services who issued it, the ban was removed automatically a few minutes ago.

There are no limits to using other clients.

Typically services only issues bans in cases where you have connected too many times. You are limited to 3 connections. This would also include connections from anyone sharing your internet connection.
